Christians and Sarah Palin

Many Republicans are excited about Sarah Palin. Many Christians are thanking God that their vote for the Republican party this year can now be justified.

I don’t know about you, Palin, but I would be utterly disillusioned with politics if the only reason McCain picked me had nothing to do with my accomplishments or even values for that matter but everything to do with the fact that he wants to attract more media and independent and democratic voters who were hoping for Hilary’s win.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that McCain picked Sarah at a time like this. I must say, though, that this is probably one of the smartest things McCain’s campaign has done. McCain’s pick might actually give the party a chance at winning the presidential election.

As for James Dobson and his praise for Sarah Palin…sorry, dude, but you would vote for the Republican party no matter what. You’re just glad she’s very conservative on pro-life and gay marriage, which McCain is more liberal on.

But let me say this, my conservative friends: Both the Republican platform and Democrat platform have no plans in overturning Roe vs. Wade. And McCain will not make a constitutional amendment defining marriage. Both abortion and gay marriage will remain an issue for States to decide. McCain also believes that homosexuals should have the same rights as any married couple even if we do not give them the title of marriage. So, friends, what are you really voting for?

Democrats aren’t perfect but they’re certainly not worse than Republicans. Everyone poops.
